Renault Clio RS Strut Top Washer Mod

The famous strut top washers for the 172/182.

If you suffer from creaking front top mounts then this is the solution, easy DIY installation. fitted as standard to the V6 clio and Trophy.

Fitting instructions by Fred at BTM

• open bonet
• undo top caps (21mm, 1 per side, electronic impact gun maybe needed)
• slap on 1 washer per side (the new spacer washer should sit over the small 17mm compression nut!)
• put top caps back on, tighten with hand tools only until you feel resistance, NO MORE
